May - First Mother's Day

Because Mother's Day is this month, I want to take a minute to honor all moms.  Being a mother is a full-time job.  It is the most challenging - and most rewarding thing I have ever done.  It also gives me even greater respect for my mom, Patty Koffman, "Pompom", Mommia, Mimmie...who has given me the strongest foundation of love and support.  She has taught me what it means to be a mother.  I have big shoes to fill.  I am also so grateful for all the other women in my life, fellow new moms, old pros, grandmas, and girlfriends, who laugh with me in the good times, and help me through the hard times.  This would be so much harder to do on my own.

But on to Amira, the star of the show!

Amira May is 10 months old this month, and she amazes us every day with her intense curiosity and her sense of humor.  She has such a little personality, we are learning more about her all the time.

Enjoy the pictures!  (And video at the bottom!)
